Sadeq Mousavi to direct 35th Tehran Int'l Short Film Festival

Seyyed-Sadeq Mousavi has been appointed to direct the 35th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF).

Mohammad-Mehdi Heidarian, head of Iran's cinema organization recently appointed Mousavi as the director of the 35th Tehran International Short Film Festival.

It is the second consecutive year that Mousavi, head of Iran's Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), will direct the film festival.

Organized by IYCS, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and a member of International Short Film Conference, the festival is aimed to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The 34th edition of the TISFF, was held on October 17-22, 2017, in the Iranian capital city.

The 35th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival, to be directed by Mousavi, is slated for Fall 2018.
